CCA in Marine Environments: Corrosion Prevention

2.1 Galvanic Corrosion

In CCA: The copper cladding protects the aluminum core, only becoming an issue when the cladding is damaged.

Aluminum is susceptible to pitting corrosion in chloride environments.
